How can YOU get these great products in your home? And since I know that nursery rhymes can help aide kids in learning to read and help them with story comprehension and story structure, I feel great showing it to them!

This is just a really fun DVD to have in my home. When we got home, I gave them the coloring book! Since they now knew who Teddy, Baa Baa, Mary and the other characters were, they actually – all 3 – sat down and started coloring with no arguments. I kept the music playing the entire time we were there, swapping out the discs after the first 30 songs were played, and enjoyed the background music and spontaneous dancing it induced!Īnd with 60 songs between both CD’s, there were many I enjoyed learning right along with them! I berated myself for choosing to leave my phone at home because I would have loved to have those picture to share with you today! They immediately started dancing and singing and having a wonderful time. While my girls played, I put on one of the Mother Goose CD’s. We ran errands that afternoon and I took my husband’s outside CD player along. Not only was the DVD teaching my kids new ways to sing the songs and new dance moves, but it was also teaching words and sounds! And you know I love DVD’s that teach my kids something besides sitting!

I could see why this series, which runs on PBS, has won 14 Midsouth Emmy Awards. I happily obliged and settled back as they sang along and met new characters for the next 40 minutes. My kids thought it was pretty cool and begged and begged to watch the DVD right away! Arriving in my mailbox were the Nursery Rhyme Singing Time with Mother Goose Club DVD, Volume 1 and 2 of Mother Goose Club Sings Nursery Rhymes, and the Mother Goose Club Coloring Book! I was introduced to the Mother Goose Club a few weeks ago. My kids love nursery rhymes! And that is shocking to me since I, personally, knew almost none at all prior to having kids!īut thanks to wonderful products out for kids these days, they not only will know every single one, but those songs and rhymes will last through to their children!
